The aim of Academic Integrity Week is to draw UEL students’ attention to a range of resources they should use to improve their understanding of academic integrity. The University is promoting ‘Cite Them Right’, the standardised referencing system recently adopted by Academic Board. It is believed that the adoption of a single guide will enable students to more easily develop the academic skills needed for success. UEL would like staff to inform students about Academic Integrity Week, direct them to ‘Cite Them Right’ (available from UEL Plus, UEL libraries and John Smith bookshops), draw attention to the Academic Integrity website, use the Academic Integrity Policy when discussing AI, and encourage students to take the AI quiz in UEL Plus.

The moustache becomes the ribbon for men’s health, the means by which awareness and funds are raised for prostate cancer. To find out more, click here.
