Academic Practice and Learning Enhancement announce LEO call

Tuesday 19 March 2013

Academic Practice and Learning Enhancement is very pleased to announce that the 2013-14 LEO Call opens on Wednesday 20 March 2013.

There are a number of changes to the structure of this year's call which were agreed by the institutional Learning and Teaching Committee:

  • Only one 10,000 project will be awarded
  • The project must address the theme of student engagement
  • The call is open to Fellows (or Assoc or Senior or Principal Fellows) of the HEA only
  • There is a specific intention conditional upon the findings of the successful LEO proposal, that the project will become an institutional wide project, within the work of the Outstanding Student Experience Programme Board, thereby offering the potential for further funding and development.

Initial expressions of interest are invited and a short listing process will then take place by members of the Learning and Teaching Committee.

School/Service Learning and Teaching Committees and relevant Deans/ Director approval is required as part of the initial expression of interest process.
