The Paralympics begins this evening and once more you are advised to plan your journeys in advance to avoid the busiest times and places.
Although smaller in scale than the Olympics, over 2.5 million tickets are expected to be sold for the Paralympics. The impact of this, coupled with the schools going back from 3 September and many cultural and other events taking place across London, means that roads and public transport will be much busier than normal.
Main affected areas: Olympic Park, ExCel, North Greenwich Arena, Royal Artillery Barracks and Greenwich Park.
