Arrow New UEL Retirement and Savings Plan

UEL is launching a new Retirement and Savings Plan to coincide with new Government legislation that will require UEL to enroll all staff in an occupational pension scheme. In the past some staff have opted out of pension schemes – including UEL’s due to costs, so the new scheme has been designed with this in mind.

From 1 May 2013, all staff who are not currently in a UEL pension scheme (Local Government Pension Scheme or The Teachers Pension Scheme) will be automatically entered into the new UEL Plan, which is provided by Friends Life. Friends Life was recently selected as the scheme provider across the HE sector.

For those staff who are not currently in a UEL pension scheme and who will be enrolled in the new UEL Plan, we have arranged a series of presentations to provide further information.

For presentation dates or to find out more about the scheme click here...
