The winners of the UELSU elections 2013
The Students’ Union held its annual elections last week to find next year’s officer team. The Union saw its most sucessful election, with many candidates campaigning and a total of 2,764 students voting. The five successful students who will form the full-time sabbatical team are:
Friday Obodo – President
Edna Chirwa – Vice-President (RDBS and ACE)
Mariam Irshad – Vice-President (Education and HSB)
Michail Koufalitakis – Vice-President (LSS and Psychology)
Daniel de Sosa – Vice-President (ADI and Combined Honours)
The new sabbatical team will begin their roles on Monday 1 July.

Les Beaux Events to host a Spring Charity Ball
Events Management students are hosting a Sping Charity Ball taking place on Friday 22 March 2013 at the Tereza Joanne boat in Docklands. All funds raised will be donated to Cancer Research UK.
