Arrow Library opening hours during the Christmas period

Libraries across all sites will be open for 12 days across the Christmas period:

17 Dec - 21 Dec (5pm):              

OPEN 24/7, Staffed 9am-5pm 

22 - 26 Dec

CLOSED

27-28 Dec

OPEN 10am-5pm for self service

29 Dec - 1 Jan

CLOSED

2 Jan (9am)

24 hour opening resumes

 

Arrow The Edge and The Green will be closed next week for maintenance

The catering outlets, The Edge at Docklands Campus and The Green at Stratford Campus, will be closed from Monday 17 - Friday 21 December for maintenance works. The catering outlets will also be providing different service hours between Wednesday 2 January - Friday 25 January. For opening hours click here...

UEL is very sad to announce the loss of Mark Hayduk, one of UEL’s esteemed colleagues who passed away peacefully last week. Our sincere condolences and sympathy for his family and friends. He was highly regarded by students and staff for his passion, professsion, kindness, friendship and creative thoughts.

Fight for peace unveils impact study

Newham based charity Fight for Peace has released external evaluation findings from the Centre for Institutional Studies at UEL. research paper into crime reduction and successful progression of young people into education and employment as a result of participating in Fight for Peace projects.

Free courses - now that's a language students understand

UEL is one of a growing number of institutions to run free weekly language classes. Spurred on by a desire to enhance their cultural awareness – and plump up their CVs – students have been quick to take up the university's offer.

Free exercise classes at UEL SportsDock

The high energy sessions are open to students, staff, and the local community from midday until 2pm including Power Pump, Zumba, Circuits, Dance Fitness, Kick Boxing, and Pilates. The event is in partnership with Newham Council’s “Get the Party Started” grant scheme.
