Graham Barnfield is a Lecturer in Journalism and Print Media in the School of Humanities and Social Sciencesat the University of East London. He writes on cultural policy in New Deal America, crime fiction, documentary and reality television.
He is the former editor of Culture Matters: Communications, Media & Communities (Sheffield Hallam University Press) and was a 2003 Fellow of the Wolfsonian-FIU. Prior to becoming a full-time lecturer he taught part-time and was a freelance writer and bit-part actor. He is currently working on a book for Palgrave Macmillan based on his PhD thesis.
