Many employers seek graduates with relevant academic and personal/professional skills, preferably with appropriate work experience. Organisations often require students to have a broad knowledge base or a ‘combined’ knowledge in several key areas that relate to the specific requirements of the job.
The School of Health, Sport and Bioscience offers a wide range of programmes that are available to study combined as a ‘two subject’ degree. You could combine two programmes within the same field (e.g. Forensic Science with Toxicology), between fields within the same school (e.g., Fitness and Health and Health Promotion) or combine programmes between schools (e.g. Forensic Science with Criminology). The list below gives some other examples of some possible combinations; if you require further advice please contact the School of Health, Sport and Bioscience Combined Honours Leader or the Combined Honours Office (see details below).
