I’m paying my own fees and won’t have the money until next week. Can I leave my enrolment until then?
What happens if I don’t enrol until after the deadline date?
How late does the Enrolment Centre stay open in the evening?
You can enrol anywhere or at any time provided that you can find a pc with access to the internet. Enrolment is via UEL-Direct . If you want to enrol on the Trading Floor at Docklands you will need to come during the Health, Sport and Bioscience enrolment slot (details of this can be found on induction week page on UEL near the time www.uel.ac.uk/firstweek/).
Please note that you need to enrol AND that you also need to attend your induction day slot. Please check your email and post for the dates which you must attend. Important information in regards to your course and student packs will be given out on that day. It is essential to your future success on your programme that you attend.
If you haven’t already enrolled online you can enrol during the Health, Sport & Bioscience Slot (www.uel.ac.uk/firstweek/) which has been set aside as part of your induction programme.
Your ID card will be produced at the Health, Sport & Bioscience Enrolment slot (details of this can be found on induction week page on UEL near the time www.uel.ac.uk/firstweek/). If you have missed this slot then you need to visit the Trading Floor in the Enrolment Centre, and you may have to queue.
Your passport is best. If you don’t have a passport then you will need to bring two items from the following: birth certificate (in English), full or provisional driving licence, international driving licence, cheque book or debit/credit card.
No. You need to start the online process so that we have a record of you in the student database. You can then pay your fees and complete your enrolment when you have the money – contact Credit Control for latest information.
If you experience difficulties paying your fees please contact Credit Control (0208 223 7333) straight away, they may be able to help.
You will be charged a penalty (a minimum of £100) and will have to get authorisation to enrol from your Dean of School. If you pay your own fees the charges are higher – to find out what you need to pay and by when read the Fees Policy here www.uel.ac.uk/scholarshipsandfees/guide.htm.
During Induction Week the Enrolment Centre is open until 6.00pm on Wednesday and Thursday and until 11.30am on Friday. However, you should attend your scheduled enrolment slot (see “When Can I Enrol?” above).
