I qualified as a mature student in 1992 & worked mostly in central London hospitals till I came to uel in 2001. I work part time & continue to work in the NHS at Medway hospital, including some week end work at St Marys hospital, Paddington.

• Cardiopulmonary Health modul leader
• I teach cardiorespiratory physiotherapy at all 3 levels
• I am also responsible for student CPR training

I spent several years working with children who had cystic fibrosis. Other areas include intensive care, non invasive ventilation & breathing pattern disorders- which I still deal with. I am currently training to become a cognitive behavioural therapist & hope to combine this with my respiratory skills in treating patients.
