Brief biography

I qualified as a physiotherapist in 1988 and I have been a senior lecturer at the University of East London since 2001.  I am module leader for the Physiotherapy Master's level Foundations in Research and teach on the undergraduate level three research and level one patient centred practice and professionalism modules.  I also lead the Rehabilitation in Long term Conditions module on the Foundations Degree programme for rehabilitation assistants.

I obtained my Masters' degree and PhD at the university of East London and I am currently in the process of writing a grant approval for further research in the area of community rehabilitation and it's implications for physiotherapy practice in a Newham.
