Activities and responsibilities

  • I am responsible for the delivery of PT3033 which is the level 3 module on the management of musculoskeletal conditions and employability.
  • I also teach on all three levels including the level 1 clinical podiatry module, level 2 Intergrated pathology of the foot and lower limb and also supervision of level 3 research projects.
  • I also have students attend placements with me in level 3 at Great Ormond Street Hospital where I work with the rheumatology multidisciplinary team.

Areas of Interest/Summary of Expertise

My main field of interest is in childrens foot problems( podopaediatrics) and particularly in the field of paediatric rheumatology. But I am also intersted in biomechanics and podiatric research.

Current research and publications

  • I am intersted in foot function and am presently looking at measuring foot posture in children and the control of the foot with shoes and boots.  I have a strong interest in evidence-based practice.
