After qualifying  in 1992 I worked for the NHS as a podiatrist for 12 years. My area of clinical speciality is podiatric biomechanics and orthotics manufacture and  I joined the teaching team at UEL as a senior Lecturer in 2004.  In my current role I  combine teaching  podiatric biomechanics with research into the impact of rheumatoid arthritis on the biomechanical function of the lower limb.

• I am the level 2 year tutor for Podiatry and module leader for PT2031 and PT2034.
• I am also resonsible for co-ordinating clinical placements for Podiatry students.
