University Induction
UEL’s Staff Induction days are organised by the Learning and Development team. They ensure that all new staff are welcomed personally to UEL by the Vice Chancellor or a senior colleague and have the chance to network with people from other departments.
Staff are also briefed on UEL’s vision, values, history and future. They get an overview of Schools and Services, learn more about facilities and gain an insight into the University’s work to continuously improve the student experience.
The Academic Staff Induction is a full day programme designed to complement the university and local induction programmes by providing specific information and guidance on academic related matters, such as Academic and Quality Framework and Getting Involved in Research and Knowledge Exchange.

New members of staff are automatically booked on to the University Staff Induction and Health and Safety Induction by the HR Assistant for their School/Service.
