Although guidance and support are ongoing at UEL, the first six weeks are when key induction processes take place.
This is a familiarisation process that gives each new member of staff a chance to get to know their role and department and understand the structure, working methods and values of UEL. Frequent consultation during this time means that you, as manager, have the chance to get to know them and also understand what additional training and support would be useful.
We’ve divided the six weeks into the four key stages, with a checklist of tasks to be completed for each section.
