Wise Up! Events
These are annual events organised by the Occupational Health and Safety Unit, designed to promote safety, health and wellbeing among staff and students. 
The event includes exhibitors and interactive demonstrations providing information and advice in a range of lifestyle areas such as:
- healthy eating
- recycling
- health and wellbeing
- sporting initiatives
- alternative therapies

The OHSU would like to thank all staff and students who came along to the 2011 WISE UP health and Safety events. We had a fantastic time meeting you all.
Popular attractions included the OHSU heart disease quiz and healthy eating wheel spinner competition. We were joined by organisations such as the British Heart Foundation and Mind, as well as students from UEL’s own Acupuncture School and UEL Sports.
Among the visitors to the event was UEL’s Vice Chancellor Patrick McGhee, who was seen to enjoy testing his knowledge of health and safety in one of the various competitions at the event.

A wide range of health, safety and wellbeing exhibitors will be present, there will also be several competitions and our ever popular goody bags.
