UEL’s Learning and Development Handbook is produced annually and is available to download as a PDF.
It sets out essential and optional academic, vocational and leadership programmes run by the University. Programmes are available to all staff – including part-time and fixed contract colleagues.
You will find essential or ‘core’ training which all new staff members must undertake. Alongside this is a menu of specific programmes designed to assist staff at every level within our Schools and Services.
With almost 60 courses, workshops and training programmes available, we hope that you will find many exciting routes to increase your knowledge and fulfil your potential.
Key contacts are listed at the front of the Handbook, while the back contains application details. If you have queries about your application for training, or wish to discuss learning and development opportunities, please contact us at n.harding@uel.ac.uk.
