This is the Environment Team. Please do get in touch with any comments, questions or queries. You can also come and visit us. We are usually found in the R Building, Room 2.21, on the Stratford campus.
Sara Kassam, Sustainability Manager
My role is to lead UEL's drive to improve environmental performance across all of its activities, spreading cultural and behavioural change throughout the organisation. This includes developing and implementing policies and management systems such as an ISO14001-certified Environmental Management System and co-ordinating the carbon management plan.

Emily Hamilton, Sustainability Officer
I maintain our Environmental Management System to deliver continuous improvement in environmental performance, providing support to departments across UEL. My role also includes monitoring our energy consumption and associated costs, delivering, training and events as wells as managing Green Impact and our driving forward our Sustainability Skills Programme.

Freyja Gillard, Green Impact Intern
I support the Green Impact project, specifically managing our network of Green Impact Project Assistants and registered Green Impact departments. My role involves planning and organising workshops, maintaining our Green Impact databases and developing resources for the Green Impact section of the website.
