How did we do in March?

  • Figures from main (general waste and mixed recycling) collections:
  • Total waste figure: 59.53 tonnes (just short of 10 elephants).
  • 2011/12 monthly average total is 52.18 tonnes.
  • Recycling total of 23.74 tonnes, 40% of total. This is just slightly lower than the monthly recycling average of 45%.

Paper recycling - how many resources have we saved?

In March, we saved a 55 trees by recycling paper and confidential waste!

And saved the CO2 equivalent of 3 return flights from London to Istanbul.
