Do the Green Thing

Grow Your Own

A baby radishGrowing (and eating!) your own fruit and vegetables is one of the most satisfying activities you can do so we're encouraging staff and students to get involved in Allotment Club and do just that on campus! You can contribute as little or as much time as you like, and you get to take the produce home afterwards! To get involved simply contact greenthing@uel.ac.uk. All are welcome, whether you are an expert gardener or just want to try your hand at vegetable growing for the first time.

UEL's Stratford beds are registered with Capital Growth as space number 950 in the attempt to get 2012 community food-growing spaces by the end of 2012.

Click below to read more about each campus' plots and see lots of pictures of the progress made over the last few months!
