Thank you so much to all the wonderful Green Impact Teams who were involved in Green Impact 2011/2012 at UEL. It was a fantastic success. Together we have completed 5,517 greening actions. Well done everyone!
Green Impact Awards Ceremony: 27th April 2012
UEL's 2011/2012 Green Impact Awards took place 27th April, and was attended by over 70 staff and students, with Pro Vice-Chancellor Nirmal Borkhataria, presiding over the ceremony. We were lucky enough to have Guest Speaker Dusty Gedge give an inspiring talk on green roofs and urban biodiversity. A delicious, locally sourced buffet was provided by the Docklands Catering Team. Teams received certificates printed on recycled paper, and a box of Fairtrade, Green and Blacks chocolates. Gold and Silver winners were also given a beautiful slate engraved with their award level. A huge thank you to everyone who was involved and attended.
