The overarching policy is our environmental policy. An environmental policy is a written statement outlining how an organisation will manage the environmental effects of its operations.
UEL's policy includes:
- A commitment to continuous improvement.
- Recognition of compliance with environmental legislation.
- Education and training of staff and students in environmental issues and the effects of their activities.
- Monitoring of progress and review of environmental performance at least annually.
