
On arrival, graduands must register at the registration desks in the entrance of the o2. Please arrive early to avoid congestion and queuing.
Registration desk opening times:
All graduands MUST register. On registering you will be given your programme and calling card, this acts as your ticket to the ceremony. Graduands and guests will not be admitted into the hall without a ticket or a calling card. Graduands must keep their calling cards with them at all times – this has your seat number on it and must also be given to the person reading the names out on stage.
Graduands will all be seated on the lower level, guests will be seated towards the rear of this level, and in the upper level – their tickets will indicate where to sit.
If there are extra guest tickets available on the day, we will be selling these at a designated ticket desk, which will be located in the registration area.
Note: If you have the time before the ceremony, we would strongly advise that you visit Tempest Photography as they get extremely busy later in the day.

Start times are 10.30am for morning ceremonies and 2.30pm for afternoon ceremonies. Graduands and guests must be seated 15 minutes before the start of their ceremony.
Once the ceremony has commenced, it is at the discretion of the door stewards to allow late- comers into the hall, so please make sure you arrive early.
Ceremonies are expected to last approximately 2 hours.
EVERYBODY MUST SIT IN THEIR ALLOCATED SEAT.
The ceremonies are opened by the entrance of the Academic Procession for which the assembly is required to stand. The Public Orator will declare the ceremony openthere will be some brief speeches before the graduands are presented in programme order.
To ensure that every graduand's achievement is honoured equally, you are kindly requested to remain in your seats until the completion of the ceremony. The Public Orator will declare the ceremony over, after which the assembly will be asked to stand again for the exit of the academic procession.
Cameras and video cameras are permitted inside the venue, but please take care not to disturb other guests.
Immediately following the ceremony we will be holding a drinks reception that will last approximately 1 hour and will serve as a great chance to catch up and celebrate with friends and family over some refreshments.
Representatives from our Alumni team will be around all day, giving advice and information on how to join our growing Alumni network. Please feel free to visit their stand, located alongside Tempest, First Class Honours and Sapphire Media who are also around throughout day, before and after the ceremony for your photography, merchandise and DVD needs.
