Our award ceremonies are the biggest highlight of the university year and provide an excellent opportunity for you to celebrate your academic achievement with your family and friends.

There is limited availability for student and guest tickets for the ADI ceremony, to avoid disappointment make sure you register your attendance now.

Graduation Week - 16 – 19 November 2015 - indigo at The O2

Monday 16th November (2.30pm) – School of Health Sport & Bioscience

Tuesday 17th November (10.30am) – School of Business & Law (excluding Law and Criminology)

Tuesday 17th November (2.30pm) -  School of Psychology and Law and Criminology

Wednesday 18th November (10.30am) – Sir John Cass School of Education and Communities (undergraduates)

Wednesday 18th November (2.30pm) – School of Social Sciences and Sir John Cass School of Education and Communities (postgraduates)

Thursday 19th November (10.30am) – School of Architecture Computing & Engineering

Thursday 19th November (2.30pm) – School of Art & Digital Industries and The Graduate School

Purchase your tickets here

  1. Tickets are £28 each. Please note that only two tickets can be bought per graduate.
  2. Students get in FREE.
  3. When logging in to Tempest ticketing system please leave out the 'U' from your student number. Otherwise you will not be able to login. 
  4. Refunds are available but only up to 28 days after purchase. And you can only claim a refund up to one month before the event. Please note that you won’t be able to get a refund after this.
  5. Extra graduation tickets for additional purchase will be announced later.
  6. Photography will be available but this is on a first come, first serve basis. Please arrive well ahead of the ceremony to ensure you have time for photographs.
  7. Please COME EARLY to avoid the queues.
  8. All graduations will be streamed live on the internet. 
  9. The reception will take place at the Brooklyn Bowl.

The deadline for registering/purchasing graduation tickets is the 16th October. 


What's next?

Ede & Ravenscroft

Academic dress is hired or purchased from Ede and Ravenscroft prior to the ceremony and collected on the day of the ceremony from Building Six at The 02.

Tempest Photography

Tempest Photography are the official photographers for the 2015 Graduation Ceremonies. This includes studio photography and the ‘handshake’ picture taken on stage. Studio photography is done on a first come, first serve basis. To avoid disappointment, we recommend arriving two hours before your ceremony. Please visit to view photography packages.

A location “preferred” by the University of East London is a great way to ensure you and your loves ones have a relaxed and comfortable experience.

Certificates and Diploma Supplements are not presented at the Graduation Ceremonies. Students will receive them either:

by post through Royal Mail recorded delivery/registered airmail to the address nominated on UEL Direct, or by personal collection. Requests for this can ONLY be made by emailing
