All you need to know abot booking onto our big day

Our award ceremonies are the biggest highlight of the university year, and provide an excellent opportunity for you to celebrate your academic achievement along with your family and friends.

Dates for the 2014 ceremonies.

The 2014 Graduation ceremonies will be held from the 17th to the 20th of November. We are yet to confirm on which date each school will have their day.

CONGRATULATIONS

We would like to congratulate all those who attended the 2013 graduation and enjoyed the special occasion with friends and relatives. We hope you go on to achieve all you desire and continue to shine in your chosen fields.

Please note the Graduation team does not issue certificates or transcripts.
For queries regarding your certificate or transcript, please email assess@uel.ac.uk

Certificates and Diploma Supplements are not presented at the Graduation Ceremonies. Students will receive them either:-
by post through Royal Mail recorded delivery/registered airmail to the address nominated on UEL Direct or
by personal collection - requests for this can ONLY be made by emailing assess@uel.ac.uk

AND THE WINNER IS….

We are very pleased to announce that Hawa Fofanah, a graduate of the BA (Hons) Business Economics programme is the winner of the prize draw for submitting the graduation survey. Hawa - we will be sending your Amazon vouchers and signed Dizzee Rascal baseball cap early in the new year. Congratulations, and thank you to everyone who took the time to complete the survey!

INDIVIDUALS WHO RECEIVED AN HONORARY DEGREE FROM THE UNIVERSITY OF EAST LONDON IN 2013:

Brit music sensation Dizzee Rascal  received an Honorary Doctorate in the Arts from the University of East London this week. The award-winning rapper is one of 11 outstanding individuals being recognised as leaders in their field and for their contribution to the east London community and beyond.

Also receiving honorary awards were Keir Starmer, QC,Leroy Logan MBE, Jimmy Doherty, Martine Wright, Lord Rix, Dr Qaidjoher Ezzuddin and Subash Chandra, Sir Charlie Mayfield, Lord Harris and David Hoffman.
