The following table shows a list of our colleagyes who were successful in their applications to the 2010/11 Promising Researcher Awards competition. Award holders are expected to provide a report on their use of the funding shortly after the end of the award period, and after a further year. These reports will be published here in due course. As in 2009/10, Schools/Services were asked to apply for one "large" or up to three "small" grants. One large, and five small awards were made.

In 2009/10, for the first time, it was possible for a School/Service to apply either for one "large" grant of between £15,000 and £30,000, or up to three "small" grants of between £5,000 and £15,000. All applications received were for "small" grants.
