UEL participate in The Helena Kennedy Foundation scheme which has two programmes which are currently open for applications.
Programme Bursary Scheme
These bursaries are available to students currently studying at a FE college or sixth form college and applying to enter university from September 2012. If you are already on or have undertaken a higher education course you are not eligible to apply. If you are not at a FE college or sixth form college you will not be eligible to apply. The maximum bursary available is £1500.
Article 26
This programme is for asylum seekers, refugees and those with indefinite or discretionary leave to remain. The programme provides fee waivers to students studying at the participating Universities. This programme is very limited in its size and only students who’ve applied to the participating Universities will be consider.
