Free Books

Undergraduate students starting their studies in September 2012 or later will benefit from our free book offer which consists of:

  • Free skills book when you start
  • One free textbook for every module you study

Who is eligible for this offer?

All undergraduate UEL students who are in year 1 or year 0 who are starting after September 2012 and paying £9000 can benefit from this offer, (Home, EU and International students, both full-time and part-time).  Except for Distance Learning students and Home/EU students paying a Continuing tuition fee.

What free books will I receive?

How to collect your free books

There will be two distribution centres for free books, one in Docklands and one in Stratford. Students will need to bring their UEL bursary card with them and their student ID card. We will not be able to issue the books without this.

New Semester B starters only: You will be able to collect your books from Wednesday 30th January - Friday 1st February

Semester A returners & new Semester B Starters: You will be able to collect your books from Monday 4th – 15th February

at the following locations:

Stratford campus

Computing and Conferencing Centre Rm G.06 9am-5pm

Docklands campus  

KnowledgeDock room G.15 9am-5pm

You must collect your books from the campus that you study at.

After these dates please go to John Smiths bookshop at either campus.
