What are the ASICS / UEL UG Scholarships?‌

We are offering two £4,500 Scholarships per year to students wishing to study a single honours degree within the Field of Applied Sport and Exercise Sciences.  These scholarships will be offered for the next three years.

Who can apply?

Scholarships are open to all Home, EU, and International fee-paying students. 

Applicants should possess 300 UCAS points or more from a maximum of 3 subjects, and agree to the following contractual conditions of the scholarship:

  • Commit to at least 10 hours of specified ambassadorial activity on behalf of ASICS
  • Commit to at least 10 hours of specified ambassadorial activity on behalf of UEL
  • Maintain good academic standing*
  • Complete a final year project that assists ASICS with its goals.

 * Good academic standing involves submitting all pieces of assessed work by the stated deadline, maintaining an average of 55% across all modules and all work to be completed in accordance with the University academic regulations. This will be reviewed annually.

In the event of unforeseen circumstances that prohibit students from adhering to the contractual details of their scholarship, their award will reviewed at the discretion of the Field Leader and ASICS.  This scholarship is available to students who have confirmed their place with UEL by the 24th August 2012.
