The University of East London have invested in a new automatic attendance registration system which will negate the need for paper registers; saving time at the start of lectures, reducing our environmental impact and improving the accuracy of our records.
In order for this system to work we need to issue each student with a new proximity card containing a chip.
We will be issuing the new cards from September 19th – 30th in School specific slots, It is essential that you pick up your card as not only will this be how we monitor your attendance but access to our campuses will be via these new cards only from October 1st.
Further details of this new scheme including card collection specifics will be available from September 1st on this web page, please kindly check back after that time.
