HOW SHOULD I PROVIDE MY FILES?
All files should be submitted as a Photoshop file and saved as TIFF format at the correct size you want it to be printed. We cannot take responsibility for any original artwork. You may submit it in the form of USB, CD or online transfer. Please email us with your print requirements and we will be happy to help.
CAN I WASH MY DIGITALLY PRINTED FABRIC?
We recommend the printed fabric is dry-cleaned.
WHY CAN'T YOU GUARANTEE COLOUR?
Digital fabric printing with reactive dyes mean we print onto natural fibres that are chemically coated. As the fibres are natural they can react diffrently to the printing process. For instance a cotton grown in a wet season will absorb the ink diffrently to cotton grown in a dry season. We use more than one supplier so there may be differences in the chemical coating. Steaming and washing conditions may also affect the colour.
IS THERE SHRINKAGE?
Yes, up to 10%, depending on the fabric. Please make sure you keep this in mind when deciding how much fabric you need.
CAN I PRINT ON MY OWN FABRIC?
No, we supply a wide range of specially coated fabrics for digital printing.
WHAT IS THE MAXIMUM LENGTH OF THE FABRIC BEING PRINTED ON?
You can print any length of fabric you wish, but if silks are over 10 metres long, or heavy cottons 4 metres, they will have to be cut into sections to be able to fit into the steamer.
WHEN WILL MY PRINTS BE READY?
For Fabric Printing, we have a 5 -7 working day turnaround time. There may be times when we are exceptionally busy which may require a little longer.
We also have a 48hr Fabric Express Service for those in a hurry. This service costs 50% extra on top of our normal service costs.
For Paper Printing, we have a 3 working day turnaround. We also have a 24hr Paper Express Service for those in a hurry. This service costs 50% extra on top of our normal service costs.
CAN I HAVE MY PRINTS POSTED TO ME?
Yes, we use The Post Office’s Special Delivery Service to guarantee next day delivery. For small fabric orders up to 5m or small paper prints up to 60cm width we charge £7.80 for postage. For paper prints we have sturdy toblerone-style boxes in two sizes charged at £1.50 and £2.00 respectively. Larger fabric orders and large paper prints will be priced individually; please telephone us to get a quote.
