The Service Administration team provide vital support that keeps ESDS running smoothly. We organise and manage our administration, support systems and carry out activities that facilitate the effective running of the service.
The administration team is centrally based at the Docklands campus and provide support to both the Director of Service and all of the ESDS Teams.

Shahina Islam - Administrator
Roles: Shahina provides extensive administrative support to all teams within ESDS. She has specialist knowledge and key roles and responsibilities within Education & Community Partnership. Services School and Colleges team meetings including following up actions. Manages Gail May and Maggie McLinden diaries when required. She is the main contact for Spring Recruitment within the service. Supports service administration manager with daily administration duties and on a adhoc basis assists with diary management for Femi Bola. Shahina is Health and safety co-ordinator for the service and a First Aider. Provides help, support and knowledge with Agresso Finance System. Arranges travel for home and overseas requests. Provides support for Credit card returns and expenses. Deals with stationery orders for all teams within the service

Sue Isaac - Administrator
Roles:Sue provides extensive administrative support to all teams within ESDS. She has specialist knowledge and key roles and responsibilities within Quality Assurance including taking notes at QAE team meetings and processing payments for external advisors. Sue also works closely with John Lock (Director of Policy) organising Research Seminars. Sue looks after the diaries of both John Lock and Holly Duggan (Head of Strategic Planning)

Pamela Lawson - Administrator
David Thomas – International Partnerships and Projects Manager
Providing advice and guidance on to the drafting process to ensure drafts are in line with requirements of UEL MoU template, Liaising across relevant teams with regards to maintaining complete and accurate records Memoranda of Understanding. Responsible for reviewing and reporting on the cultural, legal, and political environment of UEL’s target and emerging markets i.e. liaison with government offices or agencies in identified countries or the British Council. Advising prospective partners and collaborative partners on UEL regulatory frameworks. Establishing communication mechanisms, identifying and leading on activities required to achieve a consistent and high quality management of partnership arrangements with international collaborative partners e.g. AKMI, Linton
Reviewing programmes offered by Global Education Providers and to work with appropriate Schools to initiate recognition agreements. Maintaining an overview of articulation agreements to ascertain the validity of the agreement, the number of students who have a progressed via this agreement and develop a new process of monitoring these partnerships. Manage Study Abroad programme including establishing partners links and supporting current partners
