Welcome to enable, where you will find information about what's happening at UEL to celebrate this year's International Day of People with Disabilities.
The International Day of People with Disabilities was launched by the UN General Assembly in 1982. The day promotes awareness of disability issues, the rights of people with disabilities, and their integration in to the mainstream of the social, political, economic and cultural aspects of their communities.
These values are reflected by the University of East London's Vision Statement and we are proud to be able to host a variety of activities to celebrate this event.
You will also find links to services, news stories and research being undertaken at UEL by and for student and staff with disabilities.
