Student's stories

UEL students have also been getting involved in the Games in lots of different ways, ranging from dancing in the Opening Ceremony to covering stories for Team USA. Chris Deacon, Sports Journalism student, explains his role in the Olympics:

"I am a Sports Journalism student assigned to cover basketball, BMX and martial arts for Team USA. Reporting for USOC will enable me to further my journalistic ambitions and engage me to that particular environment.

"It is also incredible to be involved in one of the biggest sporting events in London, which will be covered across the world."
