Moodle is a web based system that provides students with access to study materials and interactivity with their tutors and peers. UELconnect provide two Moodle systems, for different courses - when you are enrolled on a course that uses Moodle, you will be sent details of which system to access, and what user id you should use to log in.

How do I access Moodle?

URL, userid, password

If you are studying a course through UELconnect, which uses Moodle, then you will have been sent a URL for the system that your course uses, along with the user id and password that you need to log in.

If you do not have any of the information necessary to access your Moodle system, then you should contact the administrator of your course for the information you need. You may be able to tell which URL to use from the following list:

What do I need, in order to use Moodle?

Moodle is a fairly simple system. Often, all you will need is a computer with an Internet connection, and a recent version of a major web browser.

What is a "recent version"?

When accessing Moodle, we recommend:

(Other browsers usually work, but we do not have the resources to test every available product)

What else do I need?

Some of the features of Moodle require further settings on your computer:

(NB These features may also be affected by other software on your computer, such as add-on toolbars, or Internet security software.)
