
The UEL Undergraduate Research Internships Scheme is a scheme intended to develop the undergraduates research skills further and encourage them to see research and post-graduate study as a career option on graduation. Students are given the opportunity to work as researchers and boost their employability skills by working with academic researchers for 10 weeks on a diverse range of research projects from across all UEL schools.
You’ll get the chance to work on important research projects for up to10 weeks over the spring/ summer period, and be paid up to £2,000 for your hard work.
This is a great opportunity to be involved in important research, develop new skills and understanding and boost your CV.
There are a range of projects to get involved with, depending on your areas of interest.
Benefits of being a Research Intern
Students can apply to become intern for ten weeks, for a range of research projects from across all UEL Schools/Services, depending on your area of interest.
The scheme is only open to Undergraduates who are in their 1st, 2nd or 3rd year of their studies. Successful interns work for 20 hours per week and are paid up to £2,000 for ten weeks of work during spring/summer 2013. The earliest start dates for an internship is 15th April 2013, and all internships must end by the 31st July 2013. Please note the start date and location varies for each project.
