
The Petchey Centre for entrepreneurship is a unique hot desk facility funded by the generosity of the Jack Petchey Foundation based in Knowledge Dock Business Centre in Docklands Campus.
It provides business start ups with state-of-the-art PCs and Macs, high-speed internet, online resources, colour printing, receptionist facilities and wifi internet access, as well as pro-active business support by specialists and in house advisers.
To apply for the Petchey centre, you need to be able to demonstrate the steps you have taken to develop a business idea, or, that you have an interest in entrepreneurship, you must also agree to complete the following actions:
In the first 3 months:
Complete a self assessment tool
Attend at least 1 enterprising session
Have an appointment with a business adviser
Complete a log of activities and progress
In the first 9 months:
Complete a business plan/model
Attend a series of enterprise sessions
