Femi Bola MBE

Femi Bola MBE - Director of Employability and Student Enterprise

Femi’s role as Director is to ensure that UEL students and graduates have access to high quality, innovative and creative employability and enterprise services. Femi takes every opportunity to promote the ambitions, tenacity and enthusiasm of UEL students and graduates to employers, partners and local, regional and national stake holders.
Femi has over 20 years experience in the area of people development and is a UEL and National Teaching Fellow.

Andrew Leacy

Andrew Leacy - Employability and Enterprise Manager

Andrew’s brief at UEL is to ensure the delivery of an innovative programme of events, initiatives, projects and products to improve the employability of UEL students and graduates. Andrew has over 19 years' experience working in education and training including several years managing higher education careers services.

Natalie Freeman

Natalie Freeman - Enterprise Manager

Natalie manages the UEL student and graduate enterprise support programme. Through delivery of various activities, her focus is to develop the entrepreneurial understanding and enterprise capabilities of UEL students. Previously self-employed herself, Natalie brings a theoretical and practical approach to business support.

Mark Faulkner - Project Manager

Mark

Mark managesUEL's graduateinternship team placing graduates into paid opportunities with a wide range of employers. Mark has over 12 years experience in the field of training and development and has successfully managed bespoke projects enabling students and graduates into internships and work.

Raksha Mehta - Project Manager

Mark

Raksha has over 8 years experience within an education setting. Her remit is to effectively and efficiently manage Employability and Enterprise projects and events including Mentoring, Volunteering, paid opportunities, the Destination of Leavers from Higher Education survey, data management and the annual careers and jobs fair ensuring activities/projects are delivered to support student/graduate employability.

Laura Hanson - Project Officer

Laura

Laura’s role at UEL is to ensure the effective delivery of enterprise focussed initiatives, programmes, activities and events for UEL students and graduates. Laura is a qualified careers adviser and comes to this role with over 5 years experience in a variety of advisory roles.

Rehana Ladha - Careers Consultant

Rehana’s brief at UEL is to manage the careers guidance section for the Employability and Enterprise Team to ensure students/graduates receive effective Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) via one-to-one sessions, telephone interviews, workshops and new technologies. Rehana has over 5 years experience of working in the higher education sector.

Jessica Ellis - Project Officer

Jessica Lauren Ellis

Jessica’s role within the Employability and Enterprise team is to coordinate and support the implementation and delivery of the EET Volunteering, Paid Placement and Mentoring Schemes to improve and enrich the Employability and Higher Education experience of our students and graduates. Jessica herself graduated from the UEL in 2010

Danielle Bailey - Project Officer

Dani is the volunteering project officer at UEL and supports students in gaining voluntary and unpaid opportunities  to support the development of their employability skills, confidence and networks. Dani a UEL graduate, has worked for the university for 5 years and is passionate about the student experience and student development.
