Andrew Leacy - Employability and Enterprise Manager

Andrew has over 18 years' experience working in education and training including several years managing higher education careers services. His brief at UEL is to ensure the delivery of an innovative programme of events, initiatives, projects and products to improve the employability of our students and graduates.

Mark Faulkner - Project Manager

Mark joined the team from a background of getting long and short term unemployed people back into work. So he has strong Employability Knowledge and experiences with a sense of what Employers really want. Mark has recently successfully run various bespoke projects working with employers. Mark also oversees the UEL Summer Placement Scheme.

Raksha Mehta - Project Manager

Raksha is responsible for seeking unpaid opportunities for students with a view to enhancing their employability. Raksha has a range of experience in looking at the job sectors that our graduates eventually get in to and works on a range of initiatives that help students with their employability.

Fouzia Chowdhury - Project Officer

Fouzia is responsible for managing the development and monitoring of the website, databases and implementation of electronic processes/products to support student employability.

Laura Hanson - Project Officer

Laura comes to UEL as a qualified careers counsellor. She has taken on the role of a project officer, overseeing all student and graduate enterprise activities within the University.

Rehana Ladha - Careers Counsellor

Rehana has experience of working in both private and public sector organisations. She has previous experience of working in a Higher Education Careers Service, Connexions, Further Education College, banking and the Creative Industry. Rehana supports our students with one-to-one careers guidance, E-guidance, postgraduate and PHD options.

Jessica Ellis - Project Officer

Jessica, a recent UEL Graduate joined the team as of Jan 2012 as a Project Officer for the team, responsible for supporting activities and initiatives concerning voluntary and unpaid placement opportunities, internally and externally. Jess works with staff and our students to provide invaluable opportunities and information to gain and enjoy fantastic volunteering experiences.
