Financial Benefits of Teacher Training

Secondary Teacher Trainee

There are financial incentives for students on the Primary and Secondary PGCE Programmes depending*.

Teachers can expect to start on a very competitive salary. See here for current up-to-date details.

For the PGCE Programme there are excellent financial benefits including up to a £9,000* training salary*, part or all of your fees paid by your LEA/DCFS* (according to your circumstances) and up to £5,000 'golden hello'.*
