Subject Knowledge Booster Courses

Do You Need A Subject Knowledge Top Up?

For 2010/11 we are offering a full range of subject knowledge booster courses which could help you bridge any gaps and prepare you for your training year either on the GTP or the PGCE.


We have 2 types of Booster Course starting in September 2010:

To guarantee a place on the above Booster courses you must apply and be offered a place on UEL Secondary programmes. Please note, there are no TDA bursaries for any booster courses this year.

What actually are SKBC's

These short intensive courses are designed to develop subject knowledge in the subject in which a student will actually be teaching and hence prepare them for their Secondary Initial Teacher Training Programme.

The dates for most of our courses will be from the first week of September 2010 with some extra days in the October half term. Please note that the Physics and the Chemistry booster will start on the 23rd August 2010.
