The 7 ECDL Modules

ECDL is designed to cover the basic but key concepts of computing and is structured around the following 7 modules:

  1. IT Security
  2. Windows XP or Windows 7
  3. Word Processing Software-Office 2007
  4. Spreadsheets Software-Office 2007
  5. Developing and using Database (Access DB)-Office 2007
  6. Presentation and the effective use of Powerpoint-Office 2007
  7. Internet Explorer/Outlook-2007

It may be necessary to download the Authorware Web Player browser plug-in, but this is easily available from the main ECDL training page. You should if you have Windows XP operating systems.

Everyone can work through the seven modules at their own pace. When a module is completed, and the you feel confident and have passed the self-test, you should contact us to arrange for testing. Testing is online, but needs to be invigilated.

It is your passport to effective learning and getting a job.
