How to apply

Please note, distance learning applicants DO NOT apply via UCAS.

Application procedure

Before you should submit your application you should make sure that you have read all the support guidance notes and filled out the form accurately and clearly.

Allow yourself time to collect documents. In addition to your application form you may need to supply:

  • previous academic transcripts
  • employer references
  • IELTS documentation
  • a personal statement outlining your academic, personal or career reasons for undertaking the study

Please include as much detail as possible. Missing, incomplete or inaccurate information will delay the application process so check and recheck your forms before returning them to the distance learning team. You must ensure that you provide an active email address for correspondence.

The cut off date for applications is one month prior to the start of the semester. Please check the start date for the course you have chosen by contacting the distance learning team via the contact information below. Unfortunately we cannot be flexible on cut off dates and you may be advised to wait until the next entry point.

On receipt of your application form we will send you an acknowledgement (by email) within 24 hours. When an admissions decision has been made, we will inform you by email. We aim to respond to all applications within four weeks of receipt. Once this stage has been completed, we will send you details about how to pay your fees and select your modules. Finally, once the payment process is complete, you will be sent a student card upon request and receive learning materials and access to our virtual learning environment.
