Did the internship influence your choice of employment/career path?
I am in my current role as an extension to my research internship. The internship provided me with an opportunity to show my current employer my abilities and securing a job with them.
What was most exciting /enjoyable about the internship experience?
My supervisor and her team were not just very friendly but also extra generous with knowledge.
What key skills or knowledge did you gain from the internship?
Qualitative Research Process; from collecting data to analysing and processing it Professional communication skills; both written and spoken Research Presentation through designing of a poster
What would you say to undergraduates who are thinking about applying for an internship?
It's perfect way to develop new skills, gain applicable work experience and valuable references/contacts that are very essential in the job world after school
