Did the internship influence your decision to undertake this course?
The internship did not directly influenced my decision in terms of my course choise but it definetely gave more confidence during the course itself, due to the experience gained.
What was most exciting /enjoyable about the internship experience?
The experience itself to work in a lab applying the theory learned during the year into something real
What challenges, if any, did you face during the internship and how did you overcome them?
Challenges were many, but when in front of each one of them i used the same approach. Understanding the proble, thinking of solution, if not asking advice, and then overcoming the issue.
What key skills or knowledge did you gain from the internship?
A lot of laboratory technique very useful in research
What would you say to undergraduates who are thinking about applying for an internship?
To do it! Its a great opportunity that should not be missed
