Since the centre was established in January 2003, partnerships and networks have been a core part of Continuum's activities as we regard this as a valuable and most rewarding way of working closely together, exchanging ideas and developing projects. At the moment we have a wide range of both national and international partnerships but are always interested in developing more partnerships. Below we list our current partners and if you are interested in becoming a partner to Continuum we would gladly discuss this with you.
These are the organisations with whom we have partnerships or networks:
Appointed by the Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE), Action on Access constitutes the national co-ordination team to support widening participation strategies in England. Furthermore, it also provides support in widening participation to the Department of Employment and Learning in Northern Ireland (DELNI).
Action on Access also backs the Aimhigher Partnership for Progression (P4P) which from 1 August 2004 integrated the former Aimhigher: Partnerships for Progression and the former Excellence Challenge programmes. Aimhigher builds upon the far-reaching regional and local partnerships between Higher Education and Further Education.
