Service Standard
Advice and Helpdesks
We will:
- provide a warm and welcoming advice service on all aspects of Combined Honours, referring students where appropriate to the relevant School or Combined Honours Leader for further support
- provide a face-to-face counselling service at all campuses as advertised on the web (www.uel.ac.uk/combined)
- respond to email enquiries to the Combined Honours inbox (combined.honours@uel.ac.uk) within 3 working days
- act as a referral for other UEL services
- provide students with details of services including welfare, counselling, recreation, Students Union, Information Technology helpdesks and disability support
- assist Combined Honours students to access the relevant services at UEL to aid career planning and advice
- work within the equal opportunities policy and treat student and staff in a polite and mature way. We will not accept prejudice, intolerance, aggression or violence
Admissions
We will:
- provide up-to-date accurate information and advice on programmes we offer
- reply to all applicant enquiries
- refer requests for information on fees and prospectus requests to the appropriate sections
- notify details of induction events
Induction/Enrolment
We will:
- provide each student with details on enrolment and registration, and provide advice on getting the most out of their degree
- ensure students are aware of School induction events
- inform students of how they can access the Essential Guide
