Advice on Studying a Combined Honours Programme

A Combined Honours programme allows you to study two or more subjects (from a list of 75 subjects) to form your degree. You can choose the amount of time you spend on each of your subjects. For more information visit our Combined Honours Programmes page.

Advice on Studying a Combined Studies Programme

Combined Studies is a programme for students with an assessment decision of NFN who cannot continue on their current programme because they have exhausted all four opportunities on a core module. To be eligible to transfer to Combined Studies, students must have passed a minimum of 200 credits and have not FX'd a core skills module.

Students on Combined Studies can still complete a degree with full honours classification. Further information regarding Combined Studies can be found on UEL Plus or you can visit a Helpdesk to pick up a handbook.

Support for Combined Honours and Combined Studies Students

The School of Combined Honours will be able to process your module registration and also give you general advice about Combined Honours programmes. At any time you can email enquiries to our email address: combined.honours@uel.ac.uk. If you need to find details of your module registration or assessment results, please first visit your profile on UEL Direct. You can access UEL Direct from the UEL homepage.
