2-Subject degree students study their modules on either one or both of our East-London campuses. East London is arguably the capital's liveliest and most affordable area and is ideally located, close to the major financial centre of Canary Wharf and the region chosen to host the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic games.
Both Campuses benefit from excellent transport connections, the Romford Road campus an easy 10 minute walk from Stratford's main station and major transport hub including Bus Station, Underground, Overground and Docklands Light Railway Train Links. At Docklands we benefit from the on-campus Cyprus Docklands Light Railway Station which offers links to Canary Warf and Central London.
Travel between campuses usually takes 20-30 minutes by public transport.
Our main Stratford Campus is based on Romford Road and is home to three schools, the final Stratford School is based in Duncan House. The main library occupies the same buildings once used for Startford's 19th Century Central Library and our Stratford StudentsUnion is housed in the Passmore Edwards Building, a former museum with striking architecture, colourful frescoes and domed roof.

As part of a £130 million campus redevelopment programme, work has begun on the construction of a new Cass School of Education at our Stratford Campus. The School, due to be completed in 2008, will stand alongside a major new computer centre, lecture theatre and land-scaped courtyard.

The School of Health, Sport & Bio-Science offers a wide range of facilities, including the Centre for Podiatry, Physiotherapy and Sports Science and has newly upgraded laboratories plus our sports students will benefit from their proximity to nearby Olympic facilities.

Based in the Edwards Building, our School of Psychology houses a range of well-equipped studios, laboratories and workshops, including a Virtual Reality Lab, as well as a further lecture theatre. On the ground floor is the attractive Café on the Green, a light and airy place to meet and relax throughout the day.

Law is based at Duncan House, which is situated less than five minutes from the centre of Stratford, and a short walk from the main Romford Road Stratford Campus. Duncan House enjoys the benefits of its own on-site restaurant and computer-lab.

The first new campus within London in 50 years UEL's Docklands Campus sits on the other side of the Royal Albert Dock from London City Airport. Four Schools are based at this Campus and share the oustanding facilities offered by our magnificent Library and Knowledge Dock Centre which were officially opened by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II in February 2007.
Docklands also offers brand-new, on-campus accommodation in our Student Village which is situated in a stunning waterfront location where all rooms have en-suite bathrooms, modern facilities and internet access.

Docklands is the ideal setting for the School of Arts & Digital Industries given that the campus itself is a striking example of innovative design. Our specially designed AVA complex, opened in 2004 by renowned Turner Prize-winning artist Grayson Perry, offers purpose-built open studio space together with gallery, exhibition and installation areas, providing a stimulating and creative environment.

Following a £110 million investment programme, the University of East London's new Royal Docks Business School building opened on the waterfront of the Royal Albert Dock in summer 2006 and is right next door to our state of the art Library and Learning Services.

Opened in 2006 was a new centre for the School of Architecture, Computing & Engineering which houses laboratories and engineering workshops, state-of-the-art computing facilities and a range of other teaching and learning resources enabling you to maximise your potential.

Social Sciences is based in the East Building on the Docklands Campus home to the Atrium, the hub of campus life. Students will benefit from the Docklands Campus purpose built lecture theatres and seminar rooms, a 24/7 multimedia learning resource centre and multimedia production studio with audio and visual labs and studios.
