Confirming your place

A level results day Thursday 18 August 2011

Once the A level exam results are published, UEL will make final decisions on conditional offers. If your conditions are met, your place will be confirmed by us.

Your place is confirmed in a number of ways

  • Via UCAS Track. Log into your UCAS account by going to www.ucas.com/students/track
  • You will be sent a letter from UCAS confirming your place
  • You will receive a text message on A level results day from UEL

You will also receive an email from UEL asking you to enrol online and further information from UEL will be sent to you in the post about starting your course. Once you have been confirmed your UCAS offer will change from CF to UF.

I have not met my conditions, what do I do?

We may still be able to confirm your place. Log onto Track or call our Clearing Hotline on 020 8223 3333 to find out more.

I can’t see a decision in Track, what shall I do?

Because we have so many decisions to make during the Confirmation period, there may be occasions where there is a slight delay in updating the decision. You can contact us for an update on our Clearing hotline. Please ensure you have your UCAS personal identification number when you telephone.

We make every effort to confirm your place when it becomes unconditional, however we are dealing with a large number of applications at this time so there may be a delay in conveying the decision. Please check UCAS Track before contacting us to find out if you have been successful in gaining your place.

I’ve confirmed my place, what happens now?

Once your place has been confirmed, you will receive a pack in the post about starting at UEL. The pack will contain information about what you will need to do before arriving, how to enrol online and what to expect in First Week. For further information, go to our Starting pages

If you need any queries regarding confirmation or require any help, please contact our Clearing hotline on +44 (0)20 8223 3333
