Clearing: Adjustment

If you meet and exceed your offer from another institution, you may be able to able to reconsider your offer and apply for a place at UEL.

To be eligible to use Adjustment, you must have:

  • results that have met and exceeded the conditions of your firm choice (CF)
  • and had your offer confirmed (UF)
  • and paid the full UCAS application fee of £21 and be seeking a place within 5 days of confirmation or by 31 August 2011, whichever is sooner

You are not eligible to use Adjustment if:

  • you are confirmed (UF) at your firm choice but did not exceed the conditions of the offer
  • you have a confirmed place on a changed course offer
  • your original offer was unconditional

You cannot adjust your insurance choice. If you do not find a suitable place elsewhere you will remain accepted at your original choice.

How to apply to UEL during your adjustment period

  1. Register in Track by clicking on 'Register for Adjustment' on your 'choices' screen.
  2. Have a look at our subject vacancies page and call the number for the subject you are interested in.
  3. If you are qualified for the programme this will be verbally confirmed and your details will be passed on to the UEL Admissions Team
  4. We will check to see if you have met and exceeded your original offer and let you know if we can formally offer you a place.
  5. You will be emailed confirming this and must respond to us directly in order for your place at UEL to be confirmed in UCAS by the UEL Admissions Team.
  6. If you are accepted through Adjustment, your Track screen will be updated with the new choice and UCAS will send you a confirmation letter.

You can only receive one formal decision through Adjustment.
